The Virtual World Society (VWS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and global network of pioneers, developers, and organizations committed to leveraging the power of virtual worlds for social and environmental good. We connect XR creators online and in-person to curate technology knowledge and build awareness around projects that are already leaving an impact on society. We also recognize virtual world leaders who develop programs or experiences that reflect the Virtual World Society’s mission through the Nextant award, which will be announced at AWE 2018.
