AR Video Game Developers don’t have a set of conventions, visual representations, that they can share with its audience. Starting from scratch, developers have to agree and establish with the audience how this technology works.
Even though AR has been around for several years, video games are closer to mass consumption, specially with the recent launch of ARKit, which means that now is the time when new conventions have to be created in order to take advantage of the world of possibilities AR has to offer.
Through the experience of launching AR games in the AppStore, it will be presented all the advances, discoveries and improvements made by our studio regarding the new metaphors necessary to better communicate with our audience in order to improve the user experience.
