Dessy is an investor, advisor, story evangelist, and creative director who helps startups distribute the future more evenly. As the Vice President & Head of Story at 645 Ventures, she leads investments in AR/VR/MR, digitally-native consumer brands, and technologies that enable screenless computing.
Dessy is part of the WXR coalition and is passionate about empowering diverse entrepreneurs and creators. She deploys her deep understanding of storytelling, psychology, and experience design to assist founders in building a future that is empathetic, thoughtful, and purpose-driven. Dessy is a mentor at TechStars, ERA, CornellTech Startup Studio, and Combine Accelerator, among others, as well as an inaugural member of Parity Partners.
