Jesse Ayala

Jesse (Jesus) Ayala is a director & immersive storyteller at Fovrth Studios (GoFovrth.com). Ayala is a 2017 Facebook/Oculus Creators Lab VR for Good filmmaker, and a 2016 Future of Storytelling for Good creative fellow. In 2018 films from his “Authentically Us” series will premiere at the South By Southwest (SxSW), Tribeca, Cannes Next, Sheffield Doc/Fest and more.

Ayala’s faith in storytelling’s power to stir empathy and action stems from his front line experiences with the Clinton Global Initiative with HIV/AIDS interventions, the United Nations in Gaza and Lebanon, Al Jazeera as a freelance photojournalist during the Arab Spring, and Teach for America as educator in urban New Orleans. In 2012 Ayala founded Modavanti, social impact/sustainable lifestyle company. Ayala has earned honors from NBC News, Microsoft, InStyle, and The Huffington Post for his work.
