Karen Dufilho is the award-winning Executive Producer at Google Spotlight Stories where she was instrumental in introducing immersive, narrative content at Google. These efforts have resulted in a body of original, creator-driven immersive experiences that explore new questions of storyteller and audience.
Most recently, Karen was Executive Producer on Emmy-nominated Son of Jaguar and Pearl, the first VR short to receive an Oscar nomination and recipient of an Emmy for Innovation in Interactive Programming. In 2016, Karen joined the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and is an active member of Women in Animation. Karen was honored with AIS’s Distinguished Leadership Award in 2018.
