Sascha Goldner is currently heading an IT-department at Airbus Defence and Space where he is responsible for the operation of several IT infrastructure services. In addition, he runs the so called “ProtoSpace” at the Airbus site Manching, Germany. ProtoSpace is a set of units organized as a network throughout Airbus enabling all employees to make their ideas real and to rapidly prototype them based on agile development methodologies. ProtoSpaces focus on latest technology that can radically shift the balance. The ProtoSpace Manching focuses on AR/MR/VR. Sascha has been working at Airbus for 9 years. Starting in R&D and then focusing on IT infrastructure operations and digitalization for the last 6 years.

Beside of answering this question, a case-study shall be presented in which Mixed Reality is used in order to provide an enhanced and very isolated environment for a UAV operator.
