Soulaiman is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Atheer.

Soulaiman established Atheer in 2012 based on the belief that augmented reality (AR) technology could make a significant and measurable difference to how workers at industrial enterprises do their work.

The initial phase of Atheer’s journey led to the development of Atheer AiRTM Glasses, which later become the foundation for a reference design platform that Atheer now offers (combined with a multi-modal interaction platform and access to Atheer’s partner engineering team) for license (most recently by Flex Ltd.). Armed with insights derived from the experience of designing AR hardware, Soulaiman led the team to develop the award-winning AiRTM Enterprise collaboration and taskflow management augmented reality application that is now the company’s flagship product.

Soulaiman is a graduate of the American University. He also holds a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He conducted post-doctoral work at UC, Berkeley where he founded Atheer.
